Budaörsi Latinovits Színház is a repertory theatre venue, owned and funded by the Municipality of the City of Budaörs. It currently employs 60 professionals, with a standing ensemble of 15 actors. It produces 6-8 new theatre productions, and completes over 300 performances in total each season.
The International Theatre Institute (ITI) is the world's largest organization for the performing arts, working as a part of UNESCO, with over 80 member countries spread across every continent. The aim of the founders of ITI was to build an organization that was aligned with UNESCO’s goals on culture, education and the arts, and which would focus its endeavours on improving the status of all members of the performing arts professions. Hungary is a member of ITI since 1957.
