Laboratoryexperience - Description

Studying the role of WNT5b in Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) disease proliferation and migration as it was my thesis topic in master’s degree. As a result, I found that by knocking out WNT5b gene, it affects B-catenin gene expression, which leads to reduction in disease progression. Performing qRT-PCR to investigate gene expression. Western blot technique to separate and quantify proteins. ELISA, direct and sandwich methods. Flow cytometry. Cell and tissue culture technique. Transfection methods by siRNA
