• Assisting Strabag AG on its acquisition of WTE Wassertechnik GmbH, a German environmental engineering company specialising in water supply, wastewater treatment, sewage sludge processing and energy recovery (subject to completion);
• Assisting Globalworth on the EUR 174 million sale of logistics assets to CTP – one of Romania's largest real estate transactions in 2024;
• Assisting Special Flanges SpA, a leading Italian manufacturer of forged components, on the recent acquisition of 100% of the shares in Vilmar SA, a well-established Romanian industrial company;
• Assisting Forterro on the acquisition of Orgadata AG (a leading German-based software provider for window, door and façade industry) in a major cross border transaction involving (among others) subsidiaries in Romania, Czech Republic, Turkey and Kazakhstan;
• Assisting EMMA Capital on its strategic acquisition of Diamedix, with operations across Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Bulgaria;
• Assisting Ardian, a leading private equity investment company, on the Romanian side of the transaction for the acquisition of a majority interest in Vista Vision, a leading provider of healthcare services specialising in ophthalmic and refractive surgery, with two subsidiaries in Romania;
• Assisting Ahold Delhaize, one of the largest international food retail groups, on its acquisition of Profi Rom Food SRL (a leading Romanian grocery retailer) from MidEuropa, in a landmark transaction worth approximately EUR 1.3 billion;
• Assisting AXA on the sale of shares in its Romanian subsidiary to Vienna Insurance Group and on previous attempts to exit the Romanian insurance market (by entering into share purchase agreements with Astra Asigurari SA and subsequently with Certinvest and SIF Transilvania);
• Assisting AFI, a leading property investment and development group on its over EUR 300 million acquisition of four Class A office projects in Romania, one of the largest real estate transactions on the Romanian office market;
• Assisting various reputable international energy companies on acquisitions of renewable energy projects in Romania;
• Assisting private equity fund 3i on the acquisition and subsequent sale of Regina Maria group, a leading chain of medical clinics and hospitals;
• Assisting the shareholders of Ozone Pharmaceuticals on the sale of Ozone Pharmaceuticals, a major Romanian and international Pharma group, to LaborMed, a portfolio company of Advent International;
• Assisting Advent International on its EUR 123mn acquisition of LaborMed Pharma, the largest independent generic pharmaceutical producer in Romania;
• Assisting (India-headquartered global automotive component producer) Harsha Engineers Limited on their entry into Romania - the acquisition of a production facility in Brasov, Romania;
• Assisting Greenphire (a leader in clinical trial payments, financial support and patient support tools) on the Romanian part of the acquisition of Suvoda, a global clinical trial technology company;
• Assisting Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze on the acquisition of a significant wire harness manufacturing business from a Romanian company controlled by a global equity firm;
• Assisting Honeywell on the Romanian part of a USD 150+ million global sale of its Friction Materials business to Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation;
• Assisting IFC and EBRD on the due diligence of, and their acquisition of equity interests in Banca Comerciala Romana SA.
