Duties include:

- provide medical expertise and judgement throughout the case-handling process with medical review of individual cases

To author Company Clinical Comment (CCC) assessment for required cases that are Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse reaction (SUSAR) and where applicable, verify/provide a company causality assessment for each event. To review the medical sense of the case and ensure that the company point of view is accurately reflected. To serve as a point of contact for all product-related queries and provide product advice as required. Maintain communication with the Global Safety Physician (GSP) by GSP endorsement. Review or update company causality assessment. Perform the following actions within the medical review step in the Global Safety database. Review any internal query assigned and update/close accordingly. Detail any requests for changes to the case, including the narrative. Review and respond to any queries/comments from the Case Owner. If required, add follow-up questions. Review the medical sense including seriousness and coding of the case in the global context of the drug or clinical project, including the narrative, AE/SAE terms, suspect drugs, concomitant medications, laboratory data, and medical history.
