I was born into the world of media. I lived in Moscow, former USSR, where my father was the correspondent of Magyar Radio (Hungarian Radio) for almost a decade, I learned how to read probably on the TASS News Agency telexes since it was operating day and night in our office apartment in Moscow. I was polishing my early Russian vocabulary on speeches of Brezhnev and the Politburo and the always correct weather forecasts.
I moved back to my native Budapest and finished my high school years here and began my higher education studies in the field of media studies at JATE.
I moved to the US after BA graduation and finished my MA at NYU of New York City, where I established a family and began my professional carrier simultaneously.
I moved back to Hungary in 2003. I worked in both countries (US and Hungary) until it was manageable as a mother of two children.
I find the film industry in Hungary - especially now due to exceptional planning and professional development - a very exciting field, which I am willing to invest into professionally. I hope my media background and international work experience comes as a significant advantage for both the locally produced Hungarian and for the international film productions.
