Flora Farkas

Currently I work as a clothes shop seller. I still prefer the rush and I like that there is always something to do. I enjoy being moderately active all day. I use my previous experiences with the costumers, answering every question, helping finding the right fit for them and making them leave our store satisfied. If I am not in the cashier position, I look after the store by constantly emptying the changing rooms, keeping the clothes area organized, putting everything to it's place etc.

In 2023, I decided to try myself in a different country. I went to Cyprus for a season to work as a waitress in a four-star hotel's restaurant and bar. I've gained a lot of new experiences with work and life in itself. I quiet enjoyed the hustle, the new environment and the fact that I was able to use my language skills to connect with the guests. This season was full of high-pressure days, new situations but looking back I am very grateful for this step I took.

• Planteen is a 100% vegan and environmentally conscious restaurant
• It also includes a shop, where I first worked as a salesperson and barista, then I was transferred to the restaurant's kitchen, where I gained insight into the work of hot/cold kitchen, preparation and serving.
• Finally I chose the cold kitchen, where I prepared, packed and made the food that was transferred to the store.

• In addition to playing this sport regularly, I was able to gain experience as a coaching assistant in summer camps
• We taught children aged 6-14 the basics of our sport

• In addition to my studies, I have been volunteering at the shelter since 2016
• My tasks include taking care of the animals (cleaning, feeding, etc.), helping the workers there (light physical work for maintaining the island, reception, guiding visitors, etc.)
• In the summer, I helped in the camps organized here as a student job, where we worked with children aged 6-14. We conducted programs, provided meals, and took care of the children.
