Coordination of the activities of the organization related to the Organic Regulation (EU) 848/2018 (Coordinating internal discussions on regulation topics raised by members, gathering information, tracking, and analyzing the political and legislative processes related to the EU Organic Regulation, preparing input for the processes related to the EU Organic Regulation (public consultations on secondary legislation, input ahead of the Committee on Organic Production COP and the Expert Group on Organic Production GREX), coordinating common positions and producing reports and papers related to the EU Organic Regulation, preparing, attending and follow-up on official meetings and events related to the EU Organic Regulation (e.g. Civil Dialogue Group on Organic Farming), coordinating advocacy work on the EU Organic Regulation, liaising with relevant partners and policymakers.)
Coordination of IFOAM Organics Europe Interest Groups, Expert Groups and Task Forces (Preparing, attending, and follow-up (e-)meetings, activities and events of IFOAM Organics Europe internal working groups (Regulation mailing list, Task Force on the Implementation of the new EU Organic Regulation, Interest Group on Organic Processing and Trade, Interest Group on Organic Certification and Integrity), liaising with the Chairs and the Steering Committees of the working groups, liaising with the coordinators of other IFOAM Organics Europe working groups for issues related to the EU Organic Regulation.)
Networking with external partners and IFOAM Organics Europe members (Liaising with IFOAM Organics Europe members through relevant internal structures such as Interest Groups, Expert groups and Task Forces, participating to meetings with policymakers, organizing and/or participating in public events with relevance for the Organic Regulation topics, presenting IFOAM Organics Europe’s position in external events, implementing advocacy campaigns towards EU institutions related to Organic Regulation, writing Organic Regulation news/articles for internal media such as webpage, newsletter, activity reports, etc. and external media, networking with partner organizations and other NGOs within the relevant fields, organizing, preparing for, attending and follow-up meetings/phone conferences.
Coordinating the work of the International Department of a Hungarian organic control body (Coordinating international inspection schemes of organic operators and related training for inspectors, leading communication and cooperation with international standard setters, managing and maintaining compliance with international accreditation and approval schemes, communication with authorities, partners and other control bodies, representing the organization at international events, giving presentations, representing the organization at IFOAM structures (interest groups, working groups and task forces), following the legislative process related to the EU Organic Regulation, providing opinions and feedback for the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture in legislative topics, informing and assisting staff in the interpretation and implementation of EU regulations.)
