- Lead presenter of geologic materials during Technical Committee Meetings with foreign equity partners, resulting in approved capital programs and continued trust in operational ability and effectiveness.
- Served as lead geologist for both El Merk and Hassi Berkine oil fields, both of which are under WAG (water-alternating gas) tertiary recovery and have a combined production of more than 200,000 bbls of liquid per day. Accurate, working models are key to maintaining such high production rates for many years.
- Integrated all available data (static and dynamic) into development planning and Earth models: Whole core analysis, modern-day fluvial analogs, wireline and LWD/MWD data, seismic analysis, subsurface fault architecture and sealing capacity, sub-crop mapping, oil and gas typing, MBAL estimates, injector and producer well pressures, water and gas breakthrough timing, overall well performance, drilling parameters (ie increased pyrite content affected drill bits), just to name a few.
