Welthunherhilfe (WHH) is a German international non governmental organization, it main operation covers Food security / nutrition, Agriculture & rural development, Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH), Infrastructure in public institutions, Disaster relief / emergency response, Renewable energy, environmental protection & climate resilience. While at welthungerhilfe the following were my involvement

• Conducted research on traditional and sustainable cocoa production practices and seed qualities, compiled data, and assisted in timely reporting.
• Attended meetings and presentations to learn project details and cooperation with other development partners.
• Field visit with EU representatives and welthungerhilfe team on project monitoring and evaluations at project locations kenema, Pujehun and Njala
• Performed project data entry tasks meticulously, maintaining high levels of accuracy throughout the entire dataset.

• As an Animal disease surveillance officer for kenema District I was responsible for the following rolls
• Collection and collating of weekly animal disease report from all reporting centers within the district and send it to national epidemiology unit on very Monday latest by 4pm
• Conduct training for farmers on Animal production and productivity/ management
• Conduct Routine treatments and vaccination for zoonotic and prevalence animal disease.
• Conduct radio and community sensitization on specific zoonotic disease such as rabies, Anthrax, Ebola and Brucellosis.
• Making Presentations/updates on current animal disease status within the district at quarterly review meetings and at One Health forums

Company Overview: Plan parent Hood-SL is a non governmental organization working in the Easter part of Sierra Leone which includes three districts (Kenem, Kong and kailahun district) there main activities cut across Health's, Agriculture and education.

• Health: this organisation provides health services and sensitization/education to teenagers and teens or early mothers on how to take key decisions and planning there families
• Agriculture: the organisation also involves in agricultural activities by supporting widows and widowers by providing income, seeds, farm tools or other farm inputs for them to engage themselves and also provide animals as other means of livelihood support
• Education: the organisation involvement in education is to provide books, uniforms, bags and school charges for this kids and other underprivileged children within the three districts.
• So my role as a pair educator was to ensure that this activities where implemented in my own working district (Kenema)

As a community animal health worker I was responsible for the following actions at community level

• Detection and reporting of animal disease conditions base on clinical signs within the community to Veterinarian or Livestock officers at district level
• Basic treatment of common animal diseases that can be handled with first aid treatment
• Visit farmers to monitor there animals and give some advice on managements practices.
