My main responsibilities were around providing translation and translation quality assurance for a pharmacovigilance project of an external client. These included:

• Triaging incoming Adverse Events cases
• Translating a variety of cases from Russian to English which included lay reports as well as articles from medical journals
• Filling in the Adverse Event form provided by the client.
• Reviewing and editing cases translated by others
• Liaising with the client and the Processing Team.
• Filling in Excel spreadsheets to collect productivity data
• Attending team meetings to discuss issues around productivity and possible translation errors
• Completing assigned trainings
• Training incoming associates

• I have been providing translation and interpretation services to different clients from English to Russian, Russian to English, Hungarian to Russian, and Hungarian to Belorussian for more than 10 years. The areas I have worked in include:
• HIV/AIDS, human rights, and key populations: I translated Briefing and Policy Papers, contracts, and correspondence and interpreted during meetings of the key populations' networks (NSWP, SWAN, ECOM), GNP+), donors (Aidsfonds, Robert Carr Fund, Red Umbrella Fund) and UN agencies (UNFPA, UNAIDS)
• Human rights: translated, proofread translations, and interpreted for large international human rights organizations such as Front Line Defenders, ODIHR OCSE, FIGS Global Dialogue, Urgent Action Fund;
• Women's rights: provided translation and interpretation for such organizations as AWID, IWRAW Asia-Pacific (interpretation during their capacity-building sessions for engaging with CEDAW, interpretation during meetings with CEDAW), WEFC, Numun fund;
• Medical and pharmacological translation and interpretation: interpreted for Gilead, Richter Gedeon, private medical clinic, translated a doctoral thesis on HIV preventive vaccination from Hungarian to Russian;
• Environmental issues: translated and interpreted for FAO UN, including during the LEGS training;
• Technical translation and interpretation: translated documents and interpreted during the negations of the U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration on issues related to secure transportation of nuclear waste; interpreted during a meeting of partners at the MOL petrochemical plant in Dunaujvaros; translated patents and technical documentation for Ganz Engineering; interpreted during negotiations around the purchase of the SIP producing equipment;
• Football: interpreted during a General Assembly meeting of the European Club Association;
• Politics: interpreted during the conference of the Party of the European Left (spring 2023) and the conference of the Turkic Council (September 2021);
• History and Gender Studies: translated the book Elmondani az elmondhatatlant (Speaking the Unspeakable) by Andrea Pető from Hungarian to Russian; translated correspondence of the Hungarian Institute of the Military History with Russian and Belorussian counterparts.

• Researched and recorded origins, provenance, and historical significance of Soviet Samizdat archival materials in the online database in two languages (Russian and English)
• Provided advice in the development of the database regarding classification and the structuring of the fields.
• Provided occasional consecutive interpretation on issues related to database design during meetings with an outside IT team.

• Taught classes on Academic Writing and Women's Leadership.
• Prepared curriculum, lectures, and assignments for students
• Checked and graded students' assignments.
