Peter Bors

As a specialist doctor I had been working as the head of department of acute psychiatry at the town hospital in Szigetvár for nine years, until 2022. It was an in-, and outpatient department with 35 beds having nearly one thousands patient per year with all kind of psychiatric and substance-related disorders.

I lead a team of more than twenty colleagues including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and nurses. I believe I have advanced leadership and I possess the ability of diagnosing and treating professionally any kind of psychiatric illnesses. Diagnosing and properly treating hard cases was one of my main strength

During this years I encountered many difficult or even dangerous situations and I was able to work under time and financial pressure and always patients came first.

I have been working at a private outpatient clinic for more then 10 years, where besides diagnosing and administering medication I had time for supportive therapies as well.

After the hospital I had the opportunity to work in several part time jobs in different regions of Southern Hungary both in heath and social care. All these jobs dealt with the poorest and most uncared psychiatric patients. I made more then 1200 medical expertise during a year often in fast-paced environments.

I have been working with patients from adolescence age, with all types of psychiatric and substance-related disorders in both heath and social system. I am highly familiar with human behavior, not only with pathological but psychological as well. I would like to exploit my skills and professional experience in the UK.
