Supporting three main processes. One major area is OS patching of 40000 virtual machines (windows, linux) including job, database, and app servers.
The second is assisting application teams in carrying out certain processes, such as account refresh, account migration, and implementing changes (validation, pausing, etc.).
The third main process is incident management and providing support during bridge calls.
Three main focus was there. Payroll migration, support for data platform team, and engineering team.
Payroll migration: Building payroll systems from clean servers.
Data Platform: EU related incident, Service request manageing.
Engineering team: Databricks inconsistent tables troubleshooting.
Tasks:
Revenue/maintenance/construction of physical servers, expansion/reduction of resources of virtual servers, repair of operational errors, handling of customer calls, handling of error tickets, 0‑24 on‑call, stock administration with automated company internal script, daily inspection of server rooms, preparation/placement of external IT devices, assisting customers in setting up their devices.
