When I was a kid I wanted to find myself by trying all kinds of sports. I tried everything from ball games to athletics, but I was always hooked on martial arts for the longest time. As a kid I loved competing and so I tried to push my limits.
My initial fascination with karate evolved into the world of judo, and after passing my braces I developed a new "love" for muay thai. I have loved and practiced this sport on a weekly basis for the last 20 years because I feel it helps me push my limits both mentally and physically. It fills me up with energy and relaxes me, even though it is a serious brain gymnastics all the time, or the results of the training would soon show.)
Reading is a kind of relaxation, but also an activity that allows me to learn new things and even to play roles and analyse and understand thoughts.
I enjoy them both but my personal new favourite is Dante's Inferno from which one can discover many things about the way people are today.
