As Product Owner, oversees an Agile team made up of programmers and database developers with clinical experience. Oversees the entire data system build process, including information gathering, user story creation and refinement, Jira backlog management, sprint management, and a comprehensive evaluation of implemented and tested stories prior to launch. Supports stakeholders by classifying problems and promptly delivering fixes. Works in tandem with project managers and other product owners to improve and optimize workflow procedures and related standard operating procedures.

Data Team Lead on a Phase 3 clinical trial with ~15,600, majority of them HIV+ participants in Africa, seeks to better understand infection and disease in immunocompromised populations in order to prevent severe COVID-19 and chronic SARS-CoV-2 infections and minimize the risk of transmission.

Assists cross-functional teams with the documentation, testing and implementation of clinical data collection studies in an electronic data capture (EDC) system. Assists with identification and resolution of data queries and discrepancies. Main point of contact on training users on the EDC system and protocol specific EDC requirements.

• Involvement in the Safety Risk Management processes.
