- Decision Making: Approve or reject credit applications in own competence (up to EUR 2 M total exposure) based on risk analysis and the Bank's internal policies.
- Comprehensive Credit Risk Assessment: Identify and analyze risks associated with credit applications. Predominantly working on applications where the deliberative body is the local Credit Committee or there is Advisory Opinion request. Conduct in-depth evaluations of corporate clients' (SME and LC) financial stability and creditworthiness through meticulous analysis of business model, financial statements, credit reports, industry trends and macroeconomic factors. Write recommendation for the deliberative body on the amount, structure, conditions and collaterals of the proposed facilities.
- Analysis of Credit Applications: Thorough review of incoming credit applications and preparation of decision-ready credit proposals in English, in collaboration with corporate relationship managers.
- Regulatory Compliance Assurance: Ensuring adherence to banking regulations and internal policies during the lending process.
- Communication: Inform and negotiate with counterparties on the business department about their credit applications and obtain and verify necessary documentation. Participation in client meetings on a case-by-case basis.
- Monitoring: Regular monitoring and review of the portfolio, taking proactive measures to maintain credit quality.
- Mentoring and training new joiners.
